The question

What is changing in growth, inflation and policy, and how does that compare with market expectations? This proposed extension adds economic context to the existing liquidity research.

What would be measured

The planned inputs include growth and activity releases, inflation, employment and policy expectations. Each observation needs its release date, reference period and revision history so the analysis does not use information unavailable at the time.

Reading conflicting evidence

Safe interest rates and financial-risk conditions can move differently. BIS research separates these channels. A weak economic release does not by itself determine the direction of equities: expectations, financing conditions and earnings need to be examined alongside it.

Publication status

This is a proposed research framework. Economic-release pipelines and historical validation have not yet been added. There is no current macro regime assessment on this page.
